This is a stage play, filmed and broadcast live to cinemas across the UK on 1st October 2009. The 'film' was then screened worldwide 'as live' in hundreds **** cinemas as part of the National Theatre's NT Live ******* which aims to do the same for many of theatre's productions. The scheme debuted in July 2009 with National Theatre Live: Phèdre (2009).
